Who is UUET...

The Upper Urr Environmental Trust, began in 2020 with a board of three volunteer trustees, all living within the Corsock area and keen to do something to help the local environment.

As members of the local community council, discussion often involved forestry and wind-farm developments. The need for a body that these industries could engage with was clear, to both put forward the needs of the local community and champion the environment and biodiversity.
