How reliable are AI content detectors?
I've been using various tools to check if text is AI-generated, but they often give conflicting results. What makes a good AI detector, and are there any that stand out for accuracy without too many false positives?

AI detectors work by analyzing patterns like sentence structure, vocabulary repetition, and predictability in the text. They're not perfect because AI models evolve quickly, so what works today might miss newer generations tomorrow. If you're dealing with academic papers or blog content, it's worth trying an ai detector that uses multiple algorithms for better reliability. Keep in mind, though, that human editing can fool them sometimes. Always cross-check with manual review for important stuff. In my experience, combining tools gives the best results, but focus on ones updated regularly.
